Congratulations on attracting them to the garden. We have seen a hummingbird in our garden recently but we see more of them later in the summer normally. For me the plants the like best are Lobelia cardinalis, Lonicera sempervirens, Pentas, and Cuphea. I grow Pentas and Cuphea in containers as they are semi-tropical. We've been trading plants for many years, and of course our two small gardens act like one larger garden--good for pollinators!

Hi Jean, I'm glad you have hummers visiting you. I'm sure your garden is very attractive to them. They also like to eat insects, particularly annoying ones such as mosquitoes Adrian Ayres Fisherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11057583835126786240noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7924014047319573263.post-33860263774479444852015-07-13T19:52:05.990-05:002015-07-13T19:52:05.990-05:00Congratulations on your hummingbird success. I never get tired of their magic. -JeanAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7924014047319573263.post-83894529169615334492015-07-13T16:29:00.762-05:002015-07-13T16:29:00.762-05:00good to have neighbours who share your support for...good to have neighbours who share your support for biodiversityDiana Studerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12286066768376135880noreply@blogger.com
